Electrical Engineer

We're now adding an experienced Electrical Engineer to our rapidly growing team in order to keep pushing the boundaries on the latest state-of-the-art audio devices.Overview:As an Electrical Engineer at CAMPFIRE AUDIO, LLC, you will design, develop, and test our next generation of audio equipment. You will work with the engineering team in driving innovation and continuous improvement within our products. This is a hands-on position that takes advantage of your experience in analog and digital circuit design, signal processing, and acoustic engineering in creating high-performance audio devices.Responsibilities Design and develop electrical circuits and systems for audio devices, including amplifiers, digital-to-analog converters, and headphone drivers. Work in collaboration with the mechanical engineering team to ensure that the electrical components fit within the general product design. Performance analysis by testing will be conducted to ensure that the product meets the design requirements and is within industry standards. Detailed documentation includes creating and maintaining schematics, bills of materials, and test reports. Identify and root out electrical problems in developmental and production stages.Keep updated with industry trends and state-of-the-art developments in audio technologies for driving innovation in product design.Provide technical support to other departments, including product management and manufacturing, for the timely completion and success of projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldWe are looking for a full-time Analog/Digital Circuit Designer knowledgeable in analog and digital circuit design; previous experience in the audio industry is considered an asset.Competent in the use of CAD software for circuit design and simulationThorough knowledge of general principles of audio signal processing and acoustic engineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsResults-oriented with passion for audio technology and ear for sound qualityPCB design and layout skills considered an assetWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageFlexible working environment, with the possibility of remote workThe opportunity to work among dynamic and experienced engineers as well as audio enthusiastsAccess to state-of-the-art equipment and resources to develop productsOpportunity to be impactful on the future of audioAbout UsDiscover world-class earphones meticulously designed and assembled in Portland, Oregon.
