NOC /Overnight CNA
CNA Position Overview: The CNA is responsible for providing all tenants with the highest quality of direct, routine, person centered care in all daily living activities in accordance with the Tenant Service Plan, MDH Nursing Assistant Program standards, Tenant Bill of Rights and the Assisted Living Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The PCA position is under the supervision of the RN Memory Care Manager.
Specific Responsibilities & Duties
Provides ongoing tenant care upholding and promoting the tenant's right to be free from abuse, mistreatment, neglect or misappropriation of tenant property, immediately reporting any suspicions, reports or witnessed events to the RN Memory Care Manager or LALD
Forms quality relationships, communicating and interacting competently on a one-to-one basis while integrating the tenant-centered Plan of Care
Demonstrates sensitivity to physical, mental and psychosocial needs as well as maintaining dignity, while skillfully performing directed nursing, personal cares and restorative services
Supports and promotes tenants' rights and attainment of as much functional independence as possible
Maximizes quality of living through continual monitoring, reporting and documenting of tenant care
Practices and promotes a strong culture of customer service, ensuring a tenant-centered experience
Completes personal cares as directed such as bathing; grooming; mouth care; dressing; toileting; eating and hydration; proper feeding techniques; skin care; and transfers, positioning and turning
Completes basic restorative services as directed such as training tenants in self-care and according to the tenant's abilities; use of assistive devices in transferring, ambulation, eating, and dressing; maintenance of range of motion; proper turning and positioning in bed and chair; bowel and bladder training; and care and use of prosthetic and orthotic devices
Ensures all call lights are promptly and courteously answered
Promptly reports and documents incidents and errors involving tenants, staff, visitors or self
Prioritizes work assignments consistent with number and level of staff available and tenant care acuity
Reviews departing staff report at start of shift, ensures duties and delegated tasks are complete at end of shift and reports off to nurse when leaving
Qualifications
Education & Experience: Must have an active CNA license

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
