About The Role The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing core accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and supporting timely and compliant financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in month‑end closing, HQ reporting, internal controls, K‑SOX support, and audit coordination. Title: Sr. Accountant Type: Full‑Time, Exempt Location: Onsite with one day telecommuting Salary Range: $75‑$85K DOE Compensation: Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs, in compliance with California pay transparency requirements. Responsibilities Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported. Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all close deliverables. Review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations prepared by junior staff. Perform detailed account analysis and investigate significant fluctuations. Prepare variance analysis for management and HQ reporting. Prepare and submit periodic Note Packages required by HQ in accordance with group reporting timelines. Coordinate with HQ finance team to respond to reporting inquiries and additional data requests. Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and documented internal control procedures. Support K‑SOX documentation and control testing under the guidance of K‑SOX lead. Lead audit preparation by organizing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Respond to external auditor inquiries and support audit requests.li> Participate in system implementations, process improvements, and special projects as assigned. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GL accounting, and financial reporting. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems required. Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of IFRS and internal controls (K‑SOX experience preferred). CPA or CPA-track preferred. Korean bilingual preferred.
