We deliver services that connect, host, virtualize, store, collaborate, integrate, compute and transact business solutions that utilizes cloud first, automation, analytics, “as a Service”, BIG data and software defined.The Sr IT Engineer will be responsible for operational support of Server Infrastructure for regional servers at Honeywell. You will work in VMware, Windows & Linux Server Architecture & Administration (Windows 2025, 2022, 2019/2016/2012 Operating Systems & *NIX). This role includes complimentary technology management of regional infrastructure such as network & backup infrastructure.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-Related Discipline or combination of work experience.3-5 years of experience in operational support of enterprise server ecosystem3+ years of Windows Server, Linux OS (Redhat, Ubuntu) and Virtualization platforms such as VMWare, VXRail, vSAN and NSX, Nutanix1+ years of server automation activities or Infrastructure as code (CHEF, Amelia, Powershell, Cloudinit), GitHUB3+ year with ServiceNow or another formal Service Management platform and/or methodologyExperience with Microsoft Windows 2016 and 2019,2022 and 2025 operating systems Experience with supporting mission critical infrastructure operations WE VALUEExcellent leadership communication and executive presencePatching tools such as Tanium and Windows security standards & OS Hardening concepts are a plusExperience with support of Azure or AWS servers and cloud storage such as Nasuni or NetappExperience with support of wired/wireless Network infrastructure such as Cisco, Dell and Juniper switchesExperience with support of data recovery products such as RubrikCapacity planning, performance optimization experience Familiarity with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow and having experience with monitoring and reporting using Splunk. Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, NFS/SMB/CIFS/SCSI). Experience with Installation, Racking & Stacking of HardwareCreation and maintenance of runbook and standards documentation management and audit support.
