System Administrator

Systems Administrator/Engineer MCPC – Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Location: Onsite at MCPC Client – Independence, OH Overview MCPC is seeking an experienced Azure Systems Administrator to support one of our key clients located in Independence, Ohio. In this contract-to-hire role, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing the client’s Azure cloud environment. You will partner closely with their internal development, operations, and security teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for the client. Monitor cloud performance and implement cost-optimization strategies. Maintain and enforce security standards to protect cloud resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance cloud solutions. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management. Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues and service disruptions. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of the cloud environment. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to client stakeholders and MCPC team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; experience in financial services is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure cloud environments. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and Azure architecture. Proficiency in ARM templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and identity management. Excellent communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting abilities. Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.
