Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!What You Get To Do:Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animalsDevelopment of ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coachingMaintain a secure, accurate and timely flow of goods and merchandise between the warehouse, internal support staff and external clientele for the parksReceive, check-in, price mark (if applicable), store and transport resale merchandise and supplies used by the parksRecord and dispose of non-salable merchandiseMaintain accurate temperature logsProvide front-line leadership support in the following areas: policies and procedures, personnel, security and safety of all warehouse and receiving locationsRecommend changes (improvements) in policies and procedures relating to assigned area of responsibilityTake accurate and timely stock counts as needed to maintain a balanced flow of goodsMake a continuing and diligent effort to minimize the loss of company property and/or merchandise due to internal or external damage or theftAssist with maintaining cleanliness of warehouse, to include extensive detail cleaningPerform other duties as assignedWhat It Takes To Succeed:At least 18 years of ageA high school diploma or equivalentA valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a company driver's licenseA working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applicationsAble to obtain SeaWorld forklift certification and Class D driver's licenseComfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facilityAble to complete and pass provided CPR training/certificationContingent in the successful completion of the ServSafe Food Manager certification testHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environmentAble to climb a ladder to heights up to 12 feetAble to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadershipAble to stand for long periods of timeAble to push/pull 300 pounds with assistanceAble to lift 50 poundsAvailable to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shiftsPrevious leadership experience preferredPrevious warehouse experience preferredPossession or pursuit of a bachelor's degree preferredKnowledge of SAP applications preferredCompensation: 18.25 USD HourlyThe Perks Of The Position:Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer: SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
