Onsite 100%Shift: Monday through Friday (8Hr Day)Purchaser job descriptionBelow is a description of the Purchaser role/responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Create and manage POs (purchase orders) using MRP software; track shipments and resolve any delivery issuesCommunicate with vendors regarding open orders, scheduling, and RFQsCommunicate with the appropriate departments/purchase requesters about order statuses, including any order delays or issuesNegotiate piercing, lead times, and terms with vendorsMaintain vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of materialsBuy items from our online vendors as required by our MRP (material requirement planning) softwareMake weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on PO'sWork with the accounting department to research inaccuracies in receipts compared to invoicesObtain RMAs from supplies and process DMR parts through the systemSkills:Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and set priorities according to current demandsAbility to deliver solutions under tight deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or Google Doc/SheetsDetailed orientedTechnical parts knowledge-electronic components are a plus!
