About the CompanyA metals recycling client of I.K. Hofmanns is looking for an Outside Sales / Account Executive responsible for purchasing ferrous (iron/steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, copper, brass) scrap metals to grow the company's market share and profitability.ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Lead Generation: Build and manage a network of commercial, industrial, and dealer accounts. They visit suppliers to secure ongoing scrap contracts.Pricing & Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and service agreements based on current market conditions and pricing models established by the company's management.Logistics & Material Sourcing: Coordinate the movement of scrap, often working with facility managers to ensure materials meet volume and quality specifications.Compliance: Ensure all metal purchases comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
