Job Type: ContractLocation: Lititz, PAWork Type: OnsiteLength of Contract: 6+ monthsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a contract position lasting six months or more in Lititz, PA. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the manufacturing of electronics, circuit boards, and transmitters. This role involves assisting suppliers in ramping up production, implementing Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Lean manufacturing practices, creating recovery plans, and reporting to stakeholders. A proven track record in continuous improvement methodologies with tangible results is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the manufacturing processes of electronics, circuit boards, and transmitters.Assist suppliers in scaling up production efficiently and effectively.Implement RCCA processes to resolve manufacturing issues promptly.Apply Lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.Develop and execute detailed recovery plans to address production setbacks.Create and present weekly reports to stakeholders on production performance, issues, and improvements.Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to drive process enhancements and achieve measurable results.Conduct failure analysis and develop strategies to prevent recurrence of issues.Provide technical support and training to production teams and suppliers to ensure best practices are followed.Monitor production metrics and use data-driven approaches to recommend improvements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.Proven experience in assisting suppliers with production ramp-up.Strong expertise in RCCA and Lean manufacturing methodologies.Demonstrated ability to create effective recovery plans and drive continuous improvements.Experience in creating detailed reports and presenting them to stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Preferred QualificationsSix Sigma certification.Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC).
