Ag Sales Representative
Position Specifics:Department: SalesReports To: Store ManagerFSLA Code: ExemptPurpose:Sells new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers. This position will require relevant experience in sales or an agriculture related field and is not an entry level position.Responsibilities:Represents the company for the sale of machinery (agricultural, lawn and garden) to customersKeep track of equipment inventory and keep a constant awareness of the products available for saleKnow and use company provided systems and tools to follow a defined sales processWork closely with Parts and Service Departments to provide customers solutions and develop long term relationshipsMaintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealershipDevelop an awareness for competitive activity and products as well as business and industry trendsDevelop lasting relationships with customers to better understand their business activitiesAchieve and maintain a strong knowledge of used equipment markets and values to properly evaluate tradesMaintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goodsEffectively communicate with management as needed in relation to competitive activities and products as well as customers business activitiesAttends and participate in applicable sales training events, seminars, and classesDelivers sold equipment to customersOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:1+ years equipment sales experience or agriculture related field required, this is not an entry level positionMust have a valid driver's license and in good standingMust maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employmentKnowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferredAbility to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functionsAbility to work flexible hours and to work on your ownMust have outstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer relationship skillsAbility to analyze and interpret basic sales reportsA drive to meet and talk to new peopleHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceFull-Time Benefit Packages:Paid Holidays & Vacation TimeHeath, Vision, & Dental InsuranceLife Insurance401K Plan with Company MatchRoutine Performance & Pay ReviewsFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Safety Equipment AllowanceAll benefits subject to change.In Season Hours : Monday-Friday 7am-5pm , Saturday 7am-12pm (rotation)Off Season/Winter Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
