This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to technically challenging projects that positively impact both industry and community environments.The successful candidate will be involved across the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through commissioning and construction support—working on a wide variety of project types.This position is well-suited to someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys taking ownership of their work, building client relationships, and collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a senior technical resource on complex engineering projectsPerform mechanical system design and coordinate with cross-functional teamsPrepare engineering calculations and supporting design documentationDevelop mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment layoutsCoordinate with vendors on equipment selection and integrationSupport bid package development and construction documentationContribute to proposals, including scope definition and fee estimatesParticipate in business development and client relationship managementMentor and support junior and mid-level engineersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 7+ years of relevant experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredStrong knowledge of HVAC and building mechanical systemsExperience with process systems and equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, chillers, etc.)Familiarity with applicable codes and standardsProven ability to build and maintain client and vendor relationshipsProficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or CADWorx preferredExperience with pipe stress analysis tools (e.g., Caesar II or Autopipe) is a plusKnowledge of PIPE-FLO is desirableWillingness to travel to project sites as neededWhat’s on OfferExposure to a wide variety of technically challenging projectsCollaborative, multi-disciplinary working environmentClear pathway to leadership, mentorship, and client-facing responsibilitiesEmployee ownership through an ESOP, providing long-term financial upsideProfessional development and support for licensure and career growthHybrid working flexibilityCompetitive compensation package ($120,000–$150,000 depending on experience)Comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plan with employer match, PTO, and holidaysEqual Opportunity StatementThis organization is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
