2nd Shift - Material Handler Forklift Operators

Volt is immediately hiring *2nd Shift Material Handler/Forklift Operators *in *Pflugerville, TX.* As a *Material Handler*, you will: * Responsible for performing the physical or combined administrative/physical tasks involved in the storing, counting and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. * Compile and maintain records of quantity, cost and type of material stocked and issued, and prepares material requisitions. * * Follows all distribution related ISO procedures, and Material Handling Guidelines. * Works from requisition, order list or stock list to pull required items. * Use a checklist as items are pulled to ensure kit accuracy. * Accumulates orders, reports shortages and transports completed orders to distribution point or staging area. * Processes returned items and unscheduled issues. * Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued. * Prepares requests for procurement of material. * Lifts heavy items and may operate a pallet jack or forklift. * Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. * Take inventory of stored items through cycle counting. * Audit kits for accuracy. *This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity!* *Schedule: *Monday - Friday - 3:00pm – 11:30pm *The ideal candidate will have:* * *Must have Current Experience with a Forklift. * * *Must have a Current Driver’s License. * * 6 months or more of Material Handler experience preferred. * Experience using a computer. (Experience with MRP System / ORACLE a HUGE Plus!) * Experience with Cycle Counting a plus! * Ability to read/write/speak English * Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach to perform tasks * Ability to see, communicate and listen clearly. * Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to complete tasks. *Pay Rate: *$17.00 per hour - 2nd shift earns a 10% per hour shift premium \*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should *APPLY NOW *for immediate consideration!
