Fathom 4 grows when we build teams that feel the same way.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain cybersecurity controls in accordance with DoD and NSA requirementsSupport Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities for information systems and networksConduct vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation effortsMonitor systems and networks for cybersecurity threats, incidents, and compliance issuesAnalyze security findings and recommend risk mitigation strategiesAssist with the application and validation of STIGs, patches, and security configurationsRespond to cybersecurity incidents and support recovery and reporting actionsMaintain cybersecurity documentation, system artifacts, and compliance recordsCoordinate with engineers, system administrators, and government stakeholders on cybersecurity mattersSupport continuous monitoring activities to maintain cyber resilience and operational readinessMinimum Skills And RequirementsEDUCATIONBachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following:CybersecurityComputer EngineeringElectrical EngineeringElectronics EngineeringMathematics with concentration in Computer ScienceCertification Requirements (one of the following and must be current):CompTIA A+CompTIA Network+CompTIA Security+SSCP (ISC²)CCNA-Security (Cisco)CND (Certified Network Defender)Experience10 years experience with a Master’s degree or 14 years experience with a Bachelor’s degreePreparing and implementing cybersecurity policiesEnsuring compliance with cybersecurity policiesAssessment & Authorization (A&A) activitiesPlanning and implementing cybersecurity measuresUpgrading and monitoring cyber defense capabilitiesMaintaining cyber-resilient networksConducting cybersecurity vulnerability assessmentsIdentifying risks and recommending remediation actionsImplementing risk mitigation strategiesEnsuring proper security controls are in placeProtecting digital files and electronic infrastructureResponding to cybersecurity incidents/breachesRe-establishing protections after security eventsPreparing required cybersecurity reportsSkills & AttributesExcellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.Familiarity with: NSA cybersecurity requirements and NSA cybersecurity tools and applicationsAbility to use NSA-related tools in daily operationsSECURITY CLEARANCEMust be a US CitizenCurrent DoD TS / SCI with Counter-Intel (CI) Poly security clearance required and must be maintained throughout employment.LOCATIONThe work location is N.
