Horizon Pack and Ship is a locally owned packing, shipping, and business services center. We provide high-quality shipping solutions, printing, mailbox rentals, and specialty services for both residential and business customers.
Role Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations at our Radcliff location, ensuring smooth workflows, excellent customer service, and a profitable business environment. This position requires a balance of leadership, operational management, and hands-on service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalated customer issues.
Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and inventory control.
Oversee shipping, receiving, printing, and retail processes to meet quality standards.
Maintain compliance with carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, U-Haul) policies and procedures.
Monitor sales performance, set goals, and implement strategies to drive revenue.
Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
Prepare daily/weekly reports for ownership on store performance and staffing needs.
Qualifications:
Previous retail, shipping, or service-based store management experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer proficiency (POS systems, email, office software).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Flexible schedule availability, including Saturdays.
