As an LPN, You Will: A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering quality nursing care that leads to positive patient outcomes and satisfaction for both patients and their families. Working within the State Nurse Practice Act, the LPN: • Assists in nursing assessments and care planning. • Provides hands-on patient care with compassion and precision. • Oversees the care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring excellence at every step. Educational and Vocational Requirements: • LPN license in good standing • BLS • Provide verification of a tuberculin skin test (TST) as required by state law or company policy (administered onsite if needed). • Adhere to legal requirements, standards, and policies, including compliance with the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act, and HIPAA. • Report concerns or suspected non-compliance promptly to the supervisor, Compliance Liaison, or Compliance Officer via the Integrity Hotline. • Participate in quality assurance and process improvement activities as requested.
