Job Title - Electrical Engineer II – Medical Device Job Location - Mounds View, Minnesota (Fully Onsite) Duration: 12 months contractType: W2Hiring an Electrical Engineer to support sustaining/product engineering for released medical device hardware. This role focuses on problem-solving, product support, and engineering changes rather than pure R&D. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality, compliance, and performance.Key Skills Required:Hands-on with circuit testing, troubleshooting & lab workAbility to work independently + in team environmentsEngineering change management (Agile / Windchill)Analog & digital circuit design + schematic readingElectrical testing & lab equipment handlingProduct failure analysis & root cause investigationDocumentation in regulated environments (medical/aerospace)Strong problem-solving & communication skillsCore Responsibilities:Perform failure analysis on returned productsHandle engineering change orders (ECOs) and documentationReview component changes, obsolescence & supplier updatesCreate test plans, execute testing, and document resultsAnalyze schematics & support circuit design improvementsWork with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory)Support sustaining engineering & ensure product compliance
