Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with culinary experience to showcase their skills and contribute to a welcoming dining atmosphere. Duties Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to menu specifications and recipes Ensure all food is prepared safely and in accordance with food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation for breakfast service Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and guest satisfaction Adhere to dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs when necessary Assist with catering or special event meal preparations as needed Qualifications 2 years of experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Culinary experience with knife skills, meal preparation, and menu planning Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including food industry best practices Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Experience in dietary aide roles or dietary departments is a plus Ability to work part-time hours, including mornings and weekends as needed Previous experience in catering or serving is advantageous but not required This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who enjoy preparing delicious meals in a professional environment.
