Job DescriptionThe Clinical Manager oversees practice operations with a special focus on the clinical operations.ResponsibilitiesSupervises technician staff for Plantation, FL officeManages daily clinic workflowConfirms weekly chart reviewsCommunicates with physiciansCreates and monitors schedule for techniciansRecruits new technical staffOversees the training of new techniciansConducts annual employee performance evaluationsImplements time or cost savings protocolsIdentifies and implements ways to improve clinic workflowDocuments clinic policies and proceduresManages drug inventoryMonitors suppliesIdentifies equipment that needs repair or replacementManages the Quality Payment ProgramSupports and manages clinical operationsAdheres to OSHA, HIPAA and security protocolsSupports RFG's Mission StatementPerforms other duties as assigned. Required SkillsAbility to perform all clinical functionsStrong supervisory skillsBachelor's degree requiredAt least 5 years of previous experience in an ophthalmology practiceCOA or COT certificationExcellent communication and customer service skillsFlexibility with hours and local travelProficient with EMR and practice management systemExhibit patience and compassionAbility to prioritize tasksAbility to work in a team environment or work independently
