Sales Representative – Performance-Based Pay, No Cap BLC Roofing is hiring Sales Representatives in Northeast Ohio who want their income to look more like a scoreboard than a salary. This is performance-based pay with uncapped earning potential. You’ll be out in the field, not stuck inside—helping homeowners protect their homes and making a real difference when they need it most. What You’ll Actually Do Build real relationships with homeowners, solve meaningful problems, and turn your effort into measurable results and income. Master the fundamentals of roof inspections with hands-on training and develop the communication skills to guide homeowners through their best options. Create your own opportunities: door knocking, outreach, referrals, follow-up Run your route, your day, and your goals in the field—not from behind a desk You’re not just “selling roofs.” You’re helping people make big decisions about the place they live and the people they love. Who This Role Fits? People who tend to crush it here usually: Have a competitive background (sports, performance, or goal-based work) Like chasing big goals and seeing their name at the top of a leaderboard Aren’t scared to knock on doors, ask direct questions, and hear “no” Can take rejection, reset, and move to the next house without sulking Are willing to climb ladders, get on roofs, and go above and beyond in the field Actually care about homeowners and want them to feel taken care of—not pressured Sales experience helps, but it’s not required. Drive, coachability, and work ethic matter most. The Reality (Read This Before You Apply) We’re up front: this isn’t for the faint of heart. For many 1st and 2nd year commission-only reps, 40–50 hours per week in the busy season is normal if you want to hit higher earning goals Evenings and some weekends are part of the job—because that’s when homeowners are home You’ll spend a lot of time walking neighborhoods, on roofs, and in face-to-face conversations If you’re looking for easy money or a guaranteed check without putting in the work, this isn’t it.
