If you're ready to deepen your anesthesia skills while learning the specialty side of dermatology, this is a great next step.What you'll doAssist with various specialty procedures and diagnosticsProvide anesthesia & procedure supportSet up, monitor, and recover patients for sedation and anesthesiaTrack trends, anticipate needs, and communicate changes quickly and clearlyAdvanced nursing & dermatology case supportProvide excellent care for hospitalized and outpatient patientsSupport chronic dermatology patients and long-term care plansProcess laboratory samples and handle dermatology-specific diagnosticsPartner closely with doctors, technicians, and client service to ensure a smooth experienceClient communicationConfidently educate and support clients through chronic and recurring conditionsCommunicate clearly with referring veterinarians as needed What we're looking for2+ years experience as a veterinary technicianCVT/RVT/LVT preferred (or willingness/desire to obtain within 6 months)Strong anesthesia experience and skillsSpecialty experience is a plus-Dermatology is preferred, but not requiredExcellent communication skills and a teamplayer mindsetA collaborative, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach to patient care and team focused mindset Full-time benefits at CCVS include (but not limited to)Compensation starting at $22/hr, commensurate with experience, skillset, and credentialsup to $2,500 sign-on bonusFour-day work schedule (including a holiday rotation)Generous CE support (including VTS track & mentorship by specialists)Full benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance401K plan with company matchUniform allowanceTrupanion Pet Insurance - company-paid premiums for 2 petsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
