Senior Network Implementation Engineer
Key ResponsibilitiesMigration Planning: Support detailed LAN implementation planning to transition from legacy Cisco architecture to Cisco SDA fabric architecture.Change Management: Lead the preparation and documentation of robust change controls, technical implementation steps, backout considerations, scheduling sequencing, dependencies, and required approvals.Network Documentation: Maintain critical supporting documentation, including subnet matrices, IP addressing schemes, equipment inventories, connectivity diagrams, and overall planning sheets.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, network engineers, site local teams, security operations, and implementation resources.Execution & Validation: Support execution planning, readiness reviews, active implementation events, real-time issue resolution, and post-change validation activities.Program Tracking: Maintain thorough technical documentation tracking project risks, technical dependencies, key architecture decisions, and ongoing status discussions.Qualifications & Skills## ExperienceSenior-level expertise in LAN planning, network engineering, or enterprise implementation.Proven experience working within large enterprise environments and manufacturing facilities.Specific experience supporting manufacturing plant network refreshes and live site implementation events is strongly preferred.Technical SkillsCisco Networking: Deep, hands-on knowledge of Cisco enterprise switching, enterprise LAN design, and Cisco SDA fabric migration planning and execution.Security & Load Balancing: Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers within integrated network environments.Technical Authoring: Ability to translate complex engineering requirements into detailed change controls, subnet matrices, implementation plans, and deployment runbooks.Professional AttributesStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-team coordination skills.
