Position Title: Investigation Support AnalystLocation: Hybrid with possibility of remote, near Camp Springs, MDEmployment Type: Full‑TimeSalary Range: $110,000 - $126,000Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret / SCIPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Investigation Support Analyst to support cybersecurity investigations, incident response, and malware analysis efforts. This role is responsible for conducting in‑depth digital forensic analysis, reverse engineering malicious code, and supporting containment and recovery activities following cybersecurity incidents.The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with forensic and cybersecurity tools, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of operating systems, networking, and malware analysis techniques.Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience using digital forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, AXIOM, or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience with cybersecurity and security monitoring tools, including FireEye, Microsoft ATA, Splunk, Exabeam, Stealthwatch, and WiresharkExperience with debugging tools (ollydbg, WinDbg, Immunity Debugger) and disassembly tools (IDA Pro)Hands‑on experience with reverse engineering and malware analysisStrong understanding of programming and operating system conceptsBasic working knowledge of Linux/UNIX command‑line, TCP/IP, and networking fundamentalsDesired SkillsExperience supporting SOC or CSIRT operationsStrong analytical, investigative, and documentation skillsAbility to communicate technical findings clearly to varied audiencesExperience working in incident response or threat analysis environmentsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform digital forensic investigations using tools such as EnCase, FTK, AXIOM, or similar platformsUse cybersecurity tools (e.g., FireEye, Microsoft ATA, Splunk, Exabeam, Stealthwatch, Wireshark) to support incident detection and responseConduct malware analysis, reverse engineering, and code disassembly using tools such as IDA ProUtilize debugging tools including ollydbg, WinDbg, and Immunity Debugger to analyze malicious activityAnalyze malicious code to determine functionality, impact, and indicators of compromiseSupport and lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recoveryWork across multiple operating systems and programming environments to support forensic analysisUse Linux/UNIX command‑line tools and apply TCP/IP and networking concepts during investigationsMaintain detailed, accurate documentation of forensic findings and security incidentsEnsure all activities comply with established security protocols, policies, and proceduresWhy Join UsWork on complex and high‑impact cybersecurity investigationsApply advanced forensic and malware analysis techniquesCollaborate with experienced cybersecurity, incident response, and threat analysis professionalsSupport mission‑critical systems and data protection effortsBenefits OverviewCorinth offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees’ health, well‑being, and financial security.
