Overview We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route management, and vehicle maintenance, ensuring that all deliveries meet company standards and customer expectations. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, route driving, and operating specialized trailers are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Safely operate trucks including tractor-trailers. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Follow all safety protocols related to driving, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery and route management. Knowledge of load & unload procedures and safety standards for various freight types. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Excellent route planning abilities and time management skills. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers.
