Basic Qualifications Technical Engineering (STEM – Engineering / Science) degree at the Bachelor level or above (required) Ability to obtain a secret clearance - DOD Secret Basic understanding of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Engineering roles and responsibilities across all life cycles. Previous experience with collaboration with cross functional teams Experience in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to interpret Statement of Work, Drawings, Specifications, Contracts and other engineering requirements Demonstrate ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues Knowledge of dispositioning non-conforming products/ hardwareJob DescriptionLockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to support proposal efforts, continuous improvement efforts and strategic initiatives.What You Will Be DoingResponsible for several aspects of Quality including: Understanding quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software,systems, suppliers / sub-contractors, and customers. Ability to learn proposals, Basis of Estimate (BOE) and contract review. Collaborate and partner with other functions including Program Manager, Proposal Manager, Contracts, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production and Customers. Support program proposals, strategic initiatives, and a variety of projects aimed at improving processes. Assist in establishing quality budgets and cost commitments.
