This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands-on technical expert who thrives in complex, multi-site environments and wants to play a key role in a large-scale infrastructure transformation.This individual will lead enterprise network architecture initiatives, drive Fortinet standardization efforts across the organization, support cloud and SD-WAN modernization, and partner closely with IT leadership to strengthen scalability, security, and operational performance across the business.About the OpportunityThis is a visible leadership role within a private equity-backed global manufacturing organization actively investing in infrastructure modernization and digital transformation across 17 domestic locations and multiple European sites.The Lead Network Engineer will:• Own the enterprise network architecture roadmap• Lead Fortinet standardization initiatives across the organization• Support cloud networking and SD-WAN modernization• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex network issues• Manage and mentor network infrastructure team members• Partner directly with vendors, MSPs, and IT leadership on long-term infrastructure strategyKey ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Infrastructure• Define and maintain enterprise network standards across domestic and international operations• Lead Fortinet infrastructure deployments including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiSASE• Design and support enterprise SD-WAN architecture and connectivity strategy• Drive OT/IT segmentation initiatives within manufacturing environments• Support Azure networking architecture including VNets, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, and hybrid cloud connectivityProgram Leadership• Lead network modernization and infrastructure transformation initiatives• Support recently acquired business integrations and multi-site deployments• Partner with IT leadership on long-term infrastructure planning and security initiatives• Manage vendor relationships, escalations, and infrastructure performance expectationsTeam Leadership• Mentor and support network engineering staff• Establish documentation, change management, and operational standards• Provide technical leadership and escalation support across the organizationQualificationsRequired Experience• 12+ years of enterprise network engineering experience• Strong experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments• Prior leadership or mentorship experience within infrastructure/network teams• Proven experience leading network modernization or standardization initiativesTechnical Expertise• Deep Fortinet/FortiOS experience required• Strong SD-WAN architecture and deployment experience• Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity experience• Advanced networking knowledge including TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP/DNS, and network security• Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferredPreferred Certifications• Fortinet NSE Certifications• CCNP / CCIE• Azure Networking Certifications• Security+ or CISSPWhat We’re Looking For• Strong technical leadership and communication skills• Hands-on problem solver with strong infrastructure expertise• Ability to operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment• Strong documentation and process orientation• Collaborative leadership style with a mentorship mindsetWhy Join Pantheon Electric?• Lead enterprise-wide infrastructure modernization initiatives• High visibility role with executive exposure• Opportunity to influence long-term network strategy and standards• Collaborative and growing IT leadership environment• Direct impact across domestic and international operationsHybrid flexibility available in:• Stamford, CT• Leetsdale, PA• Camden, NYApproximately 10% travel to manufacturing sites and business locations as needed.
