Data Coordinator
Job SummaryThe Data Coordinator is responsible for the creation and quality control of data files in pre-clinical efficacy studies and various supplementary appendices for study technical reports. They partner with various scientific staff to ensure accuracy and consistency of the data with adherence to templates and project timelines.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate Excel files for data collection of pre-clinical research studiesQuality control of study spreadsheets at various project stagesVerify findings and review raw data, consulting the appropriate scientist regarding any abnormalitiesReview study protocols and amendments for relevant study informationCompile graphs, data tables, data packages for clear interpretation of study resultsWork with pathologists to capture, annotate, and assemble photomicrographs of slidesMaintain study spreadsheet templatesMaintain cooperative & communicative attitude (coordinating activities, offering to help others when you have down time)Interact with clients, other employees, and the community in a professional mannerSupport and participate in company initiativesPerform other duties as assignedSkills And AbilitiesDetail-oriented; efficient quality control of dataA working knowledge and awareness of general laboratory proceduresGood organizational skillsAbility to use various software programsAbility to work independentlyGood written and oral communication skillsMinimum Education And QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in a biology-related disciplineProficient in Microsoft Office productsWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative CloudExperience in experimental designExperience in collecting and graphing scientific dataExperience in performing statistical analysis preferredEquivalent combination of related education and required work experience consideredWORKING CONDITIONSWork is normally performed in a typical interior officeOption for a hybrid scheduleProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerTeamwork settingConsistent written and verbal communicationSalary Range: $24-$28 per hour adjusted according to the level of the role and the candidate’s relevant experience and/or education.
