Senior Account Lead - Pacific Northwest
The Senior Account Lead is a senior, quota-owning role responsible for shaping strategic customer relationships, driving overall account performance, and leading commercial execution across a defined region or customer segment. As the most experienced seller on the team, you'll lead and mentor a small group of Account Managers, collectively owning a shared quota and working together to deliver sustained revenue growth. This role goes beyond closing deals—you'll set deal strategy, unlock new opportunities, navigate complex transactions, and step in to ensure the team hits the number when challenges arise. It's a role built for a highly self-directed, entrepreneurial sales leader who builds their own plan, manages their own time, and consistently finds new paths to revenue.Here's What You'll DoStrategic Account OwnershipOwn senior-level customer relationships within assigned strategic accountsMaintain a deep understanding of customer operations, priorities, and business challengesAct as the primary commercial owner of the account, responsible for overall revenue performanceOpportunity Identification & DevelopmentIdentify customer problems and translate them into commercial opportunitiesProactively generate pipeline across service, repair, LTAs, and capital projectsMaintain a mindset of “hit the quota even if…”—when a deal is lost or delayed, immediately pursue alternative opportunitiesTeam Leadership & Deal SupportLead and support Account Managers in opportunity development and deal executionProvide guidance on deal strategy, customer positioning, and negotiation approachStep in to support or directly close complex or high-value opportunities as neededTechnical Discovery & Scope FramingLead early-stage technical and commercial discovery with customersFrame scope, commercial approach, and value proposition before handoff to technical teamsEnsure opportunities are clearly defined, executable, and aligned with customer needsInternal CoordinationNavigate internal teams to move opportunities forward (engineering, operations, service, commercial leadership)Drive clarity, urgency, and accountability across internal stakeholders without direct authorityCommercial ExecutionOwn commercial proposals, pricing discussions, negotiations, and contract closeEnsure deals meet commercial, operational, and customer expectationsMaintain disciplined pipeline management and forecastingExperienceHere's What You'll Need: 5-8 years proven success selling into heavy industry, mining, or industrial operationsDemonstrated experience selling a mix of:Service and repair workLong-term service agreementsCapital projectsTrack record of owning and consistently achieving quotaExperience supporting or leading other sellers within an account structureSkillsStrong discovery and problem-framing capabilitiesCommercial negotiation and closing expertiseAbility to engage both operational and senior customer stakeholdersStrong internal influence without formal authorityDisciplined pipeline and forecast management
