Private Credit Funds In-house Counsel

About the roleOur client, a leading global asset manager, is seeking an In-house Counsel to join its Private Credit business in New York. You'll support fundraising and fund formation as the business grows in the US — working across registered and unregistered investment companies, BDCs, fund formation, regulatory filings, product development, governance, marketing review and more.This is a senior, high-impact legal role on a team with ambitious US growth plans.What you'll need6+ years of legal investment management experience, ideally with major law firm training and in-house experienceDeep experience with Investment Company Act of 1940, BDC fundraising and private credit funds; who can raise 3(c)(7) funds and SMAsAbility to manage multiple priorities across teams in a fast-growing organizationStrong communication skills; comfortable working with C-suite and senior stakeholdersWorking arrangements/benefitsHybrid – in office 4 days a weekSignificant bonus potential as well as possible equity for more experienced candidatesExcellent benefits and PTO
