This position requires excellent technical, administrative, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well independently and with others in a team oriented office environment. Only candidates with a minimum of 3 years of recent law firm experience will be considered.Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with their daily activitiesConduct researchAssist with the drafting and reviewing of estate planning documentsMonitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsRecord and store client informationQualifications:Must be an experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal well versed in estate planning with 3+ years of experienceMust have a stable background, preferably with small to mid-size law firmsFamiliarity with document managementFamiliarity with legal researchAccounting knowledge is a plusAbility to prioritize and multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPossess strong attention to detail and deadlines and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and document management systems strongly preferred.Competitive salary commensurate with experience along with performance bonuses (Pay Range: $24–$40 per hour based on experience).
