Job DescriptionHybrid Temp-to-hire Physician Credentialing Specialist, Chicago, ILOur client, an ACO, located on the near west side of Chicago, is seeking a Physician Credentialing Specialist to hire on a temp-to-hire, full time basis. This position is a hybrid position with Tu, Wed & Th in office and M, F at home. The Credentialing Specialist is part of three-person team that is involved with credentialing a total of 500 physicians.DutiesPerform full cycle of credentialing for physicians for Medicaid (Impact), Medicare (CMS) and Commercial Health Plans. Work with health plans to report the required credentialing information. Position Requirements:Minimum of an Associate’s degreeAt least 3 years’ experience in credentialing physicians. Accustomed to using credentialing software like CAQH ProView Software. Knowledge of how to submit credentialing information to health plans and payersKnowledge of health care industry, health plan, NCQA, MSO, CMS, Federal regulations.
