Senior Software Engineer (Python/ Elixir) - $200,000 - $250,000 ($450,000 TC) – Remote (US Based) – Proprietary Trading Firm Overview:We are currently partnered with a leading Prop Trading Firm based in the US who’s Middle Office team is looking for an outstanding Senior Software Engineer with diverse technical skills to join their growing team on a remote basis.calculate analytic measures across many asset classespredict theoretical market outcomes based on user-defined what-if scenariosreturn analytics for any time horizonThe successful individual will collaborate closely with risk managers and trading desks to measure option and rate sensitivities and create applications to monitor, manage, and report analytic measures.Responsibilities:Partner closely with stakeholders and quantitative teams to design and implement complex financial modelling solutionsLeverage your expertise in finance and quantitative analysis to architect robust, scalable analytics systemsWrite readable and well-tested code in multiple languages, paradigms, and platformsCollaborating with various business, development, IT, and trading support teamsProvide on-call support as part of our team-wide rotationKeep open communication with our users for support, testing, and ensuring understanding of their needsRequired Experience:One of the following programming languages: Elixir, Python, Java, C#One systems level programming language: C, C++, RustPricing, risk management, and portfolio analyticsExchange-traded financial assets, statistics, or financial engineeringData structures and design/analysis of algorithmsExperience using applied mathematics (linear algebra, optimization, numerical methods)Strong understanding of statistics and probabilitiesQuantitative modelling of financial products and derivativesFluent in functional, object-oriented, or imperative programming languagesCompetent in distributed version control, CI/CD, Docker, and KubernetesPackage:$200,000 - $250,000 Basic Salary$350,000 - $450,000 Total CompensationUS Based (Remote)Senior Software Engineer (Python/ Elixir) - $200,000 - $250,000 ($450,000 TC) – Remote (US Based) – Proprietary Trading Firm
