Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Summary We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. In this critical role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our manufacturing facility by maintaining and repairing industrial equipment. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) will be vital to our success. Essential Job Functions: Maintain and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and service order requests efficiently Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including work with high-voltage systems and PLCs. Interpret schematics, shop drawings, and technical sketches. Plan and execute machinery installations and upgrades. Effectively train and guide team members on maintenance processes. Ensure adequate inventory of critical parts and supplies. Prioritize safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance. Maintain detailed records and participate in process improvement initiatives. Other duties as needed. Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to safely operate various tools and industrial equipment. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally, under 50 lbs frequently. Qualifications & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Certification in industrial maintenance or equivalent education preferred. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 2+ years of hands-on experience in machinery diagnosis and repair required. Must pass required skill testing.
