Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Dental Hygienist located in Keokuk, IA. The role involves providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis, patient education, and the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease. The hygienist will work closely with dentists to ensure high standards of patient care and oral health. Duties also include maintaining detailed patient records, adhering to safety standards, and utilizing dental technology and tools effectively.QualificationsProficiency in Dental Care, Dental Prophylaxis, and advanced Hygiene techniquesExperience in diagnosing and managing Periodontal Disease and maintaining oral healthStrong skills in patient communication, education, and preventive careAbility to work collaboratively with a dental team in a professional environmentState of Iowa licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist and a local anesthesia license.Certifications: Active CPR/BLS certification.Software: Dentrix and Dexis imagingCommitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and infection controlStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsA "team-first" attitude, comfortable working in a small, close-knit office environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients of all ages.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Salary: From $30/hourRetirement: 401(k) with 3% company match.Time Off: sick/vacation accrual system for PTO.Work-Life Balance: No weekend hours; consistent schedule.Uniform allowance, continuing education courses paid for, self and immediate family dental treatment allowance, paid holidays, and flex spending.Schedule: Full-Time Monday- 7:30-5:15 lunch 12:00-12:45 Patients are scheduled until 5:00Tuesday- 7:30-5:15 lunch 12:00-1:15 Patients are scheduled until 5:00Wednesday- 6:30-4:15 lunch 11:00-11:45 Patients are scheduled until 4:00Thursday- 6:30-3:15 lunch 11:00-11:45 Patients are scheduled until 3:00Closed Friday-Sunday
