Division EHS Manager

EHS Program LeaderHouston area candidates only at this time! Must have at minimum, a bachelor's degree in a technical field.This position will lead the tactical and strategic direction of the EHS program for 300 employees based at production locations throughout the US - travel requirements 50%. Directly supervises two Senior EHS Representatives and reports to a VP of Operations.Engaged, hands-on and collaborative EHS Professional with the ability to drive the strategic direction of the program that will lead to a behavioral based focus. Need to be a critical thinker with good sound decision making skills. Drive to a zero-incident culture. Company currently has the lowest injury rates in their industry and strong in compliance.Responsible for providing leadership and compliance established involving EHS best practices and local/federal regulations. Lead the continuous improvement of the health & safety process for the business unit. Develop and implement safety systems and programs, audits, training, accident investigations, and related activities.
