Maintenance Mechanic

This is a great opportunity for hands-on professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, minimizing downtime, and keeping high-speed production equipment running at peak performance.Why This Opportunity Stands OutCompetitive hourly pay starting at $26+ (based on experience)Strong benefits packagemedical, dental, vision, life insurance401(k) + PTO + EAP servicesCompany that invests in employee growth and advancementStable, fast-paced manufacturing environmentWhat You'll DoPerform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on plant equipmentTroubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled machinery, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsSupport line changeovers and startups to keep production running smoothlyInstall and maintain electrical systems (110V-440V) and control componentsRead and interpret complex wiring diagrams and schematicsMaintain accurate maintenance records and work ordersContribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtimeEnsure compliance with GMP, safety, and food safety standardsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environmentsStrong experience with PLCs and electrical troubleshootingSolid mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and solve issues quicklyAbility to read technical diagrams and schematicsTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsComfortable working in a food production environment (including exposure to flour/yeast)Willingness to work weekends, off-shifts, and overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, bend, climb, and move throughout the shiftLift up to 50 lbs. regularly / 75 lbs. occasionally Work in tight or confined spaces as needed If you're qualified and serious, please send your confidential resume to Brittany at Brittany.hamilton@gogpac.com for immediate consideration.
