Position: Document Control Coordinator
Summary: The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely creation of Master Work Orders (MWO) for production from the Bill of Materials (BOM) provided by the technical team. This position will be the owner of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) process, ensuring correct and updated procedures are available to maintain consistency throughout the facility.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Create and update MWO for each production run from the Bill of Materials
Provide accurate quality inspection paperwork for each MWO based on the customer specifications
Author and manage paper and digital repository of current, under revision, and obsolete Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Responsible for routing and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure SOP’s are updated in proper intervals
Author new and update existing training content in the Learning Management System with the assistance of Subject Matter Experts (SME)
Support internal and external audit requirements
Act as subject matter expert related to Records and Information Management activities, interfacing with auditors, as required
Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned
Skills/Abilities:
Detail oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize and work under tight deadlines
Must be able to read and interpret the content of production and quality documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must have advanced PC skills using Microsoft Office products and document control systems and/or Quality Management System
Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally, both written and verbal
Willingness to set deadlines and follow up with peers and department leaders to keep documents on track
Experience in preparing and writing routine reports, correspondence and presentations, along with the ability to communicate effectively in front of individual and groups of employees at all levels

Education/Experience
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s degree preferred
Previous manufacturing experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of QA, QC, Technical Writing, or similar experience
1st shift position with flexible hours between 6am-5pm.
