Operations ManagerCompany: Totum Market and CafeLocation: Downtown Tampa, FloridaStatus: Full‐TimeReports To: Store DirectorPosition SummaryThe Operations Manager oversees the store's daily operations, ensuring smooth execution across all departments, with a particular focus on the center store departments. This role drives operational excellence, supports team development, maintains merchandising and inventory standards, and ensures exceptional customer experience. The Operations Manager partners closely with the Store Director to achieve financial goals, uphold company standards, and maintain a safe, efficient, and customer‐focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily store operations and ensure all departments meet productivity, service, and merchandising standardsLead, coach, and support department managers and associates to achieve performance goalsMaintain store conditions, including cleanliness, organization, signage, and product presentationMonitor inventory levels, ordering accuracy, shrink control, and back‐room organizationSupport labor planning, scheduling, and real‐time labor adjustmentsEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, OSHA, and company policiesResolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levelsAssist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of store teamsAnalyze daily and weekly reports to identify opportunities and implement corrective actionsServe as Manager‐on‐Duty (MOD) as neededRequirementsQualifications5+ years of grocery, retail, or multi‐department operations leadershipStrong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planningProven ability to lead teams, coach performance, and build a positive cultureStrong problem‐solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisionsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards preferredHigh school diploma requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (coolers, freezers, kitchens)BenefitsSalary Range: $70,000–$85,000 annuallyBenefits: health, dental, vision, retirement, pto, etcPerformance Bonus: based on KPI's and metrics being achievedRetention bonus available after 12 months of successful store operation
