Production Welder

Advance Products and Systems, LLC is currently seeking a Production Welder in Scott, LA. The Production Welder will be responsible for assembling products according to customer specifications. Candidate must be able to set up and adjust welding equipment as needed. Individual will perform a variety of metal finishing procedures, such as grinding to prepare welded parts for painting or make repairs as required, as well as visually inspect assembly for quality standards. Candidate will cross-train within and outside of the department to assist with other tasks as needed and must perform all duties using required safety procedures/equipment mandated by the company. Responsibilities of the Production Welder include, but are not limited to: Assembling products according to required specifications Performing all work quickly, efficiently, and accurately Inspecting the quality of parts Loading and unloading items Ensuring that all production goals are consistently met Requirements of the Production Welder include, but are not limited to: Entry Level welcome Previous production/manufacturing experience a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow directions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Fabrication: 1 year (Preferred) Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred) Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred) MIG welding: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
