1099 Delivery Driver for Cannabis Company

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to customers safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills, as well as an OLCC Marijuana Handler's permit. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy objects, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Utilize your vehicle to make wholesale deliveries to marijuana dispensaries in Oregon on behalf of the company - Load and unload packages and goods from the vehicle - Drive on a predetermined route, following traffic laws and regulations. - Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their delivery experience. - Handle Metrc manifests and invoices and assist clients with intake of their deliveries - Maintain a safe and clean vehicle for deliveries - Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate. - Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations, and maintain a clean and safe driving record. Skills & Certifications - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. - Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker's Permit - Ability to lift heavy objects - Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. - Experience with route driving and navigating through busy streets and traffic conditions. - Experience working as a courier or delivery driver, with a focus on delivering packages and goods to customers safely and efficiently.
