At Triton High School, we value experiential learning and are committed to developing scientific programming that will support the diverse interests of our students. We are looking for an optimistic individual who is creative in their teaching approach and curricular design.Sitting on the marsh and overlooking the Parker River, Triton High School is a perfect location for teaching students about Biology with ample opportunities to extend learning beyond the classroom. Students are naturally curious about and invested in science as a result of our setting.The successful candidate will be highly collaborative with colleagues. An ideal candidate would have interests and potentially be able to instruct multiple scientific domains, including Biology, as well as Forensic Science. Triton has developed a strong Forensics program that students look forward to taking each year. Our current class features DNA Fingerprinting and a staged crime scene investigation as a final exam. We are eager to have a new staff member help to continue this experience for years to come. Triton is looking for an applicant with the ability to implement a hands-on approach within the classroom.
