JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist (HR Operations Support)HOME DEPARTMENT: CorporateREPORTS TO: Human Resources DirectorGeneral DescriptionThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment across corporate, sales, and operational roles, with a focus on driving hiring outcomes, reducing time-to-fill, and delivering high-quality candidate experience.This role owns requisitions from intake through hire and is expected to proactively source, engage, and close candidates in a fast-paced environment.In addition to recruitment, this role supports select HR operational functions, including compliance, credentialing, and employee lifecycle activities, as needed.Success is measured by hiring results, responsiveness, and the ability to operate with urgency and flexibility across multiple time zones.Position Responsibilities And ExpectationsOwn full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordinationManage multiple requisitions simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownershipProactively source and engage candidates using diverse channels (ATS, job boards, networking, direct outreach)Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategy, and candidate profilesDrive hiring outcomes by reducing time-to-fill and improving candidate qualityCoordinate and facilitate interview processes, including scheduling across multiple time zones as neededDeliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience from initial contact through onboardingEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and proceduresSupport credentialing, Workers’ Compensation, drug screenings, and MVR reporting in partnership with the HR Generalist, who maintains overall program ownership.Maintain accurate, timely data within the ATS (Paycor) and ensure process visibilityIdentify and implement improvements to recruiting processes, workflows, and overall efficiencyEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policiesPartner with HR team members to support onboarding, training, and employee experience initiativesSupport employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, and separationsAssist with credentialing, background checks, drug screenings, and compliance-related processesSupport Workers’ Compensation administration and documentation as neededRespond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general supportSupport HR projects and other initiatives aligned with business and operational needsQualificationsEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSAssociate’s degree preferredSHRM-CP certification preferredExperience RequiredMinimum of two (2) years of full-cycle recruiting experienceExperience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platform(s)Knowledge, Skills, And CompetencyStrong ability to assess candidate qualifications and align talent with business needsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organization skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teamsAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Ability to operate with urgency, adaptability, and flexibility, including supporting hiring activities across multiple time zonesDRIVER’S LICENSEMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s licenseMust maintain a driving record that meets the requirements of Tech Systems’ automobile insurance carrierMust be able to travel as required to support business needsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONSThis role is primarily remote; however, occasional travel may be required to support business needs, including interviews at the corporate office. The position is expected to operate primarily within Eastern Time Zone business hours, with flexibility to support candidates and hiring managers across multiple time zones as needed.Work is performed in a virtual environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and virtual communication.
