Posting DetailsPosition InformationPosition TitleRegistered Behavior TechnicianJob ResponsibilitiesTruman State University is seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician for the Greenwood Interprofessional Autism Center located on Truman's campus in Kirksville, Missouri.The primary duty of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment plans under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Implementation of behavior intervention plans include teaching new skills, reducing problem behaviors, reinforcing positive behaviors, and collecting data. The RBT collaborates with other members of the client's treatment team, including parents, the BCBA, and fellow RBTs, and maintains interprofessional relationships with other providers such as speech, occupational, and physical therapists.
