The role involves providing expert legal counsel and support to the company's clinical enterprise, including its academic medical center, medical school, and state-wide clinical network. The successful candidate will also be called upon to advise other schools, colleges, and administrative areas on healthcare regulatory matters. This position requires the ability to work independently on a diverse range of complex and novel issues, and the specific responsibilities will be tailored to the unique qualifications and experiences of the selected candidate.Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position should have a minimum of 4 years' of experience in providing legal advice on various healthcare regulatory matters, with a focus on medical staff, fraud, waste, and abuse regulations, healthcare contracting, and healthcare transactions. Experience in an academic medical center setting is a plus. The role demands a high level of expertise in the field, and the ideal candidate will be adept at handling the legal aspects of a wide range of healthcare-related issues.
