Job detailsTrade Assistant $38.00 p/h + penaltiesLocated in St Ives, NSW Immediate StartAbout Our ClientOur client is a fastgrowing international clean energy company focused on accelerating the transition to a zerocarbon future. Specialising in residential and commercial solar, battery storage, electric vehicle infrastructure, and energy management systems.What You Will Be DoingAssisting qualified Electricians and Solar Installers with solar panel, inverter, and battery installations Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from site Performing general labouring duties, including mounting rail assembly, cable runs, trenching, and site cleanup Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively Assisting with rooftop works and manual handling tasks in line with height and safety procedures Maintaining strong site housekeeping standards and adhering to SWMS, WHS, and company safety policies Supporting commissioning and testing activities under supervision Communicating effectively with supervisors, electricians, and clients on site Working across residential and commercial installation projects throughout the Sydney regionWhat You Will NeedPrevious experience working as an Electrical Trade Assistant, labourer, or in a similar handson role (preferred but not essential) A strong interest in electrical and renewable energy work, with a willingness to learn Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors Confidence using basic hand and power tools A solid understanding of, or commitment to following, WHS and electrical safety procedures A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team White Card (Construction Induction) Current drivers licence and reliable transportWhats in it for you?Supportive team environment with on-the-job trainingSuper paid on all hoursMy Benefits - Working with WorkPac means you can access major discounts across leading retailers, explore the Wellbeing Hub as well as acquiring special offers through our partnership with FlareApply NowClick on the Apply button or for more information please contact:Courtney Learmouth0448 189 391Courtney.Learmouth@workpac.comNEWCIJ2026102279About WorkPacWorkPac is one of the largest workforce solutions businesses in Australia, backed by over 25 years of proven success.
