Zablocki VA Medical Center (CZVAMC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.This is a long-term, non-personal services contract offering the opportunity to work in a large, high-acuity, academically affiliated VA medical center. The Pathologist will deliver comprehensive anatomic pathology care, including surgical pathology, while collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical teams in support of Veteran health outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform anatomic and surgical pathology evaluations with timely reportingReview and interpret specimens in accordance with VA and national pathology standardsParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement activitiesFulfill all requirements related to accrediting agencies, including CAP, Joint Commission, FDA, and AABBMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the VA electronic medical record (CPRS)Collaborate with surgeons, clinicians, and laboratory staff to optimize patient careSupport training of pathology residents, students, and clinical staff as assignedAdhere to VA, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and patient safety standards Required QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degreeBoard-certified in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABPATH)Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territoryMinimum five (5) years of experience in pathology practice, with at least recent experience within past three yearsProficiency in written and spoken EnglishComputer literate with proficiency in electronic medical records and VA systems (VISTA/CPRS)Ability to complete VA credentialing, privileging (VetPro), and mandatory training Why You'll Love This RoleServe Veterans in a meaningful, mission-driven healthcare environmentWork within a collaborative, team-based pathology care modelLong-term contract stability with JR EnterpriseCompetitive compensation through JR EnterpriseOpportunity to work in a high-acuity, academically affiliated VA medical center Apply Today - Make a Difference for Veterans!Are you a skilled and dedicated Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact?
