X-Ray Tech Location: Bakersfield, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,318 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: At least 2 years of experience Description: General certification requirements include BLS. ARRT certification is required. Department has 2 scanners/rooms. Floating to other areas may be required. Common types of imaging/studies performed include brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities. Average number of scans/studies per day is approximately 100. EMR used is Radnet & Merge Unity. Department specific equipment includes GE & Toshiba. Lead technologist will supervise the department. Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized. Radiologists are available in-house. Starting IVs is not a responsibility of this position. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Holiday requirements include one major and one minor. Call or standby requirements involve a response time of 30 minutes on a rotating basis. Scrub color is teal. Scrubs are provided. Department orientation will be conducted by the lead and will last at least a week. Cancellation policy allows for cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner. BSN is not required. Trauma level is unspecified. Care setting is acute. Division is allied health.
