ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
OBJECTIVE
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving outbound customer engagement, opportunity identification, and early-stage pipeline development across Ramco’s target core markets. This role focuses on high-frequency outreach, prospecting discipline, and opportunity creation, supporting senior commercial leaders and account owners in converting qualified opportunities into revenue growth.
This position is designed for an early-career sales professional (2–3 years of experience) who demonstrates urgency, competitiveness, and a strong work ethic, and who is seeking to build a long-term career in industrial B2B sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute structured outbound prospecting campaigns across assigned accounts and target customer segments.
Conduct high-volume daily outreach via calls, email, LinkedIn, and customer visits to identify new quoting opportunities.
Qualify leads and transition validated opportunities to senior commercial leaders for pursuit and closing.
Maintain disciplined CRM activity tracking, ensuring accurate pipeline visibility and engagement records.
Support proposal preparation, customer follow-ups, and coordination with engineering and operations teams.
Develop relationships with purchasing, sourcing, and engineering contacts within OEM and Tier supplier organizations.
Maintain strong activity cadence aligned to defined weekly outreach and pipeline generation targets.
Represent Ramco professionally in all customer interactions and industry engagements.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Base salary plus performance-based incentive tied to activity, pipeline generation, and revenue contribution.
PREFERRED SKILLS
2–3 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (manufacturing or industrial preferred)
Strong communication and prospecting skills
High level of competitiveness, urgency, and coachability
Comfort with outbound calling and structured outreach expectations
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering or Business Administration preferred.

ROLE INTENT
This position is designed as an early-career commercial development role, building the foundation for future advancement into Senior Account Executive, Key Account Manager, or Strategic Sales roles within Ramco.
