Application AnalystW2 ContractPay Rate: $45 - $50 per hourLocation: Dublin, CA - Hybrid RoleJob Summary:The Application Analyst is responsible for application/project support as well as applying new or existing technologies and solutions to solve business needs. Works with IT and business teams to determine requirements, system needs, support existing production systems, and execute projects. May serve as a functional and/or technical expert in one or more disciplines.Duties and Responsibilities:Support and execute end-to-end New Store Opening, Remodels, and Store closing (GOB)Coordinate the efforts of internal and external staff in the support of existing production systems and in the execution of projects.Coordinate with multiple vendors, IT teams, and business partners to ensure the timely and accurate deployment.Work with various IT teams on technical design and solutionsCollaborate with other teams, within IT and the business, to ensure timely and successful delivery and/or issue resolution.Prepare estimates, budget, and forecast as needed for assigned projects.Develop project plans covering the entire systems development life cycle.Manage meetings, issue resolution & escalation for the team during the complete lifecycle of all assigned projectsSupport the creation and review of test-related & deployment-related deliverables, including approach, plan, test scenarios/results, and execution.Ensure that all required system and user documentation is created accurately, installations are completed on time and under budget, and anticipated business benefits are achieved.Manage the order processing, shipment tracking, and receipt of equipment as needed for assigned projects.Identify new methods of improving existing processes and/or promoting system stability.Support existing production systems, coordinate related support and enhancement activities. Define and prioritize problems and requests. Ensure proper testing and business change management practices and procedures are followed.
