Java Backend Developer (JC)

Job Summary Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Core Java and related technologies Optimize application performance by tuning the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and analyzing runtime behavior Develop and manage multi-threaded (concurrent) applications to ensure high performance and scalability Build and execute database interactions using JDBC, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL (including stored procedures) Perform data profiling and processing using backend Java applications integrated with databases Work extensively in Linux environments, using shell scripting and command-line tools for development and troubleshooting Develop solutions using Java, Python, and shell scripts across the application lifecycle Guide and support offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery Follow Agile methodology, participating in sprint planning, development, and continuous improvement Required Skills Core Backend JAVA, Multi-threading Database: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Desired Skills Business Knowledge - Understanding of equities domain Strategic Thinking: AI first approach, Strategic vision, Business knowledge, Innovation Creativity Personal Effectiveness: Good Communication with energy drive to get it done
