Pay: $2,200 to $2,600 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job details: Position: Echosonographer II (Pediatric Cardiac Echo – Advanced Level) SNSN SN Location: Philadelphia, PA. Shift: Days – 5x8s (8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM), Monday–Friday Duration: 13 weeks Job Duties: • Perform advanced cardiac ultrasound studies including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). • Conduct pediatric and congenital cardiac imaging with high-level competency in complex echo cases. • Generate preliminary interpretation reports and ensure accurate study documentation and billing procedures. • Manage study transmission and coverage of satellite echo lab locations as needed. • Maintain high standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. • Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric and congenital heart patients. • Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary cardiac teams. • Participate in quality assurance activities, research initiatives, and departmental improvement projects. • Support education and training of students, fellows, and new staff sonographers. Requirements • High school diploma or GED required • Minimum 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience required (5 years preferred) • RDCS (PE or AE) certification through ARDMS OR RCS/RCCS through CCI required within 12 months of start • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology required • Advanced proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography required • Experience with ultrasound physics and cardiac imaging instrumentation required • Ability to work in multiple hospital locations if needed • Experience in pediatric/congenital echo strongly preferred • Ability to work full-time weekday schedule (no weekends, no call) • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills required
